Well it's been a long night, but many things accomplished...
The look of the plasma pistol is just about finished. The charge meter has been added and looks just dandy. But, the real treat is these shots that I worked on. I actually started and finished the standard shots for the plasma pistol in one day! And to sweeten the deal, I've posted a movie of nForcer testing them out, not to mention a new movie of the first person firing test. I'm still quite amazed at how well they turned out. The only things keeping the plasma pistol unfinished are the charged shots, the charged sound and a few physics tweaks.
As far as other good news goes, I posted the video of the flame thrower with the slightly improved LCD screen. One other great thing that happened tonight was the stomping of a very elusive and very annoying bug. The big involved the AR jerking up and down spasmatically when firing it. We thought the problem had been fixed a while back, but playing with a few physics showed that to be false. But, I managed to weed out the problem tonight and it works just grand.
Tomorrow I will (hopefully) start working on getting the site set up blog style which, nForcer tells me, will be pretty damn slick. Plenty o' new features and the like. I wish I knew wha they were. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.
But, for now, the birds have started chirping and daylight is rearing its ugly head. I'm off to bed.
